  We all felt we'd hit the jackpot staying here for a week in Hanalei. Perfect location for beach and village excursions, quiet and well-appointed home for our family of 6 who ranged in age from 4 to 65, games and beach toys (boogie board, chairs, snorkel gear and more), a kitchen that had everything we needed. Property manager quickly responded to texted questions at check in. All in all a seamless vacation in paradise.

  We chose Hale Kailea because of its location so close to Hanalei Bay. The beds were comfortable, and the spacious open living area was highlighted by the natural light from many windows to the outside. The kitchen was well equiped and there were beach umbrellas, chairs, an SUP, and snorkeling equipment for our use. If we encountered an issue, the property management was quick to respond. Everyone from Makana Properties, whom we encountered during our initial rental up to our checkout was very friendly and eager to make a our stay a pleasant one. They were truly great representatives of the Aloha Spirit. We have frequently rented homes in Hanalei Bay and we highly recommend Makana Kauai Properties and Hale Kailea.
