  There are not enough superlatives to describe our experience at this home. It is spacious, comfortable, beautifully furnished and the kitchen(s) are intuitively designed and well equipped with everything one who enjoys cooking could need (except for a garlic press, our only negative comment!). Also tons of beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, umbrellas and a wagon to carry it all!
  We have previously only stayed on the ocean side of Weke Road so we were unsure if "steps to the beach" was really accurate, and it is. It is only about 100 steps from the front door to the entrance to the beach. Literally maybe a 90 second walk.
  We LOVED this home and can't wait to go back.

  Our family of 6 adults and one 18 month old stayed at this property on Hanalei Bay for two weeks. The management could not have been more accommodating and responsive to our questions/needs. The home is spotless, beautifully decorated and stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, laundry detergent and cleaning supplies. The location of the home is perfect for a quick walk into town or to the beach. We enjoyed the ping pong table as well as the three lanais. Our little guy loved the beach toys waiting for him, and we were thankful for the beach chairs, umbrellas and wagon to cart our stuff. The outdoor shower made rinsing off after a beach day a snap. We enjoyed ourselves immensely at this home and wished for more days to enjoy this magnificent place.

  From arrival to departure this home did not disappoint! The home was exceptionally clean and the furnishings were well maintained and beautiful. We cooked breakfast and dinner at the home every day. The kitchen was well appointed and a joy to cook in. The AC units in each of the bedrooms and upper family room worked great when we needed them. We really appreciated the boogie boards, beach chairs, beach wagon and beach towels available to us at the home. All of the mattresses were super comfortable. The only negative critique I can give is for the mattress in the upper secondary bedroom, each side had developed the "dips" that occur with time.
  
  The location of the home made the stay super easy for our group of 8. A quick walk into Hanalei for happy hour, groceries, shaved ice or fish from the Dolphin market allowed everyone to do what they wanted on their schedule. Memorable home for a memorable family vacation!

  Nalu Hanalei was perfect for 2 couples upstairs and a family of 3 downstairs. Upstairs balcony very comfortable for dining or lounging. Great views. Walk to beach was convenient. Walk to town is also convenient.

  Would be nice to have a flat skillet for making pancakes/French Toast.
  Would also be nice to provide tissues/Kleenex somewhere in house.
  
  All in all, highly recommend Nalu Hanalei.

  Nalu Hanalei is an outstanding rental property. It’s location on Weke Road is ideal. Although not situated directly beachfront, the ocean views from inside the home and from the upstairs lanai are absolutely incredible because of an undeveloped beachfront lot across the street. The home’s interior is beautiful, comfortable, spacious and as represented in online photos. Split system air conditioning keeps home cool during hot afternoons. We were a group of 6, family and friends. The young adults stayed downstairs with their own two bedrooms, bath, kitchen, living area, and lanai. We would gather upstairs for group meals at either of the large dining tables, one inside, one outside on lanai. Kitchen is well-outfitted with everything one may need for food prep, serving, etc. The town of Hanalei was a short walk away. We walked to Dolphin Fish Market and picked up delicious fresh fish, sushi and poke. Bay is perfect for swimming and bodysurfing. The clean, soft sand beach is a great place to relax, play and enjoy the day. Wonderful hikes nearby. There are no large resorts in the town of Hanalei. It is a special place.
